Developing and managing communications for the launch of Female Founder Collective's members-only community.

The challenge

Female Founder Collective is an online community and resource hub for entrepreneurs to support one another. They launched a new, members-only community called 10th House and needed to produce emails for launch and onboarding to the community.

The discovery

The design

I led the creative team and produced nearly two dozen emails for the launch and oversaw the complex flow and logic of email campaigns to members and non-members.

The concept

FFC's new membership platform needed to transfer non-paying members from its social following and email community to become paying members. To do this, they needed an extensive email marketing program that targeted high-profile and high-impact members as well as potential new members from the networks of the founders and founding team.

The email program included over 20 emails with different CTAs and asks for members and non-members, automated to identify when people became members and enroll them into the courses and programming of the group. We developed a re-targeting campaign and resends to reach people who had abandoned cart and opened the email but did not buy memberships. The complex flow required extensive planning and coding that separated non-members and members across three different tiers of membership. Each tier received unique content and different flow of messaging.
